The Panel
Jeff Gilmore- Jeff is a graduate of NC State University with a degree in Communications and a Minor in Business. After graduation, he worked as a Financial Planner for 3 years with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network before he was introduced to the mortgage business where he is now the SVP Area Manager of Fairway Custom Mortgage Group. Over the past 20 years, he has been on all sides of the mortgage business – from banking, to brokerage, to wholesale. This path has given him great insight into building one of the best mortgage experiences from initial phone call to closing!
Clay Vassey- Clay is a second generation real estate broker with experience in sales, leadership and coaching. Currently affiliated with REAL Broker, LLC, Clay is building a brand based on the slogan "Work Hard, Be Kind". Clay was previously the Broker In Charge of the #1 independent real estate firm in the Carolinas managing 4 offices around Lake Keowee, Lake Jocassee and Lake Hartwell. Prior to that, he was the Broker In Charge for a corporate owned brand managing their Lake Norman office, north of Charlotte. He started is career in Columbia with Russell and Jeffcoat. He credits Danny Hood with the best advice he has ever received; "Other agents are your best clients". This advice is what makes sharing and brainstorming so important to Clay's practice.
Karl Radley- Karl Radley is a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty in Irmo, SC. Karl works in resale as well as new construction. Since beginning his career in 2017, Karl has closed over $55M in gross volume in resale transactions as well as sold out 3 neighborhoods for Great Southern Homes. Since 2019 Karl has consistently ranked in the Top 5% internationally for Coldwell Banker and in the Top 1% in their SC and NC markets as well as being a recipient of the Coldwell Banker Presidents Circle award. Karl spent 6 years in the United States Coast Guard and believes that his time in the military is a key reason for his success in business. As a dedicated, passionate Realtor with a large portion of his business being referral and return clients, it remains true that real estate is about relationships and not transactions.
Will King- William King is a licensed Realtor and the Founder of The King Group at Keller Williams Columbia. Since beginning to work in the real estate industry in 2018, Will and The King Group have helped 167 families totaling $38M in gross sales. In February 2022, Keller Williams awarded Will the distinguished Quadruple Gold medal to recognize his outstanding sales production during the previous year. Will is a member of the Keller Williams National Profit Share Task Force and is currently serving his third year on the Associate Leadership Council at Keller Williams. Will is dedicated to making meaningful connections with other real estate professionals and is committed to educating new and would-be agents on the world of real estate and Keller Williams.
Bob Tompkins- Currently in his 8th year of Real Estate, Bob Tompkins has built a career by leveraging social media marketing at a high level across multiple platforms. Prior to co-founding the Living in SC Team at Real Broker, Bob sold 200+ homes as an individual agent during his first 7 years in the business. Early in his career, Bob used Facebook as the catalyst to grow his client base before moving to YouTube as his team's primary lead source.
